As we headed to Copenhagen the guys discussed the next poker tournament.
We began our day on a bus, which is becoming the normal routine in each country. The parks were lovely as we headed to the Royal Palaces. Four equally sized Rococo palaces in a square. Guards and all.
Kathie's and her Monaco hat. I really like the way the picture is set up.
What a beautiful blue sky!
We enjoyed our tour guide. I should have written the names of all our guides in each city. They were for the most part excellent.
Our next stop is Tivoli Gardens, which we found out to be an amusement park. The gardens are beautiful and we stayed on the park side rather than the ride side. ha!
Big, colorful stage for shows during the summer.
This is a beautiful hotel! Inside is the famous Anderson Bakery! Yes, we indulged and even went back for more to bring to the ship. Unfortunately, Kathie received the wrong pastries and was really disappointed!
The park is filled with glass lanterns all around the park and all around the lake in the center of the park. I bet it's beautiful at night. Google Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen and see if there are pictures.
!! I rode very large swings in Munich when I was young and this ride put that to shame!! OH MY GOODNESS! I would actually have tried this if we had enough time just to say I did it. ha!
So pretty. :)
I just loved the tulips. We were about a week too late for their perfect bloom but still pretty.
I love the colors.
Baby peacock! So unexpected and pleasant.
See the glass lanterns? I may print this one.
The boys playing.
Kathie thought the grand kids would love this ride. :)
Dragonflies for my sister. :)
This bear was followed around like Mickey Mouse is at Disneyland. Very popular with everyone.
Jeff always teacher's pet was leader of our pack with the tour guide bringing up the rear.
Copenhagen skyline.
As the ship left Copenhagen we passed some beautiful land.
An amazing bridge which ends on the island. A tunnel takes the cars under the shipping lanes!
The road continues under water as we pass over and head to our next port, Warnemunde, Germany where we will visit Berlin!
