Lisbon, Portugal May 17, 2012

 We started our tour in Lisbon through the district of Baixa which was entirely rebuilt after the 1755 devastating earthquake. The city was quite changed from three years ago when Jeff and I visited the first time. It appears the world economic situation has hit Portugal pretty hard. We did see a lot of pretty porcelain tile streets like this one with Terry and Kathie.  

Kathie or Terry will have to sign in and add comments on this picture. :) I think it is Terry's girlfriend. ha! We did meet a lot of very nice people on the cruise. 

Dwight and Carly are from Atlanta, Georgia and oozed with pure southern hospitality. 

Love the way they handle graffiti. Not as clean compared to our last visit though. Sad times.  

Just had to take a picture! I've never see a Prada Store and just look at the stain glass!

We took a sail on the River Tagus to take in the sights. These guys put on a great show to raise a single sail for our motoring experience. Ha!

We sailed back under the 1966 suspension bridge which is the sister bridge to the Golden Gate.
